Izzy’s light shines bright, whilst raising funds for SARDA
Creating bespoke moments
On 11 March 2024, Isabella Skye Bolton “Izzy”, age 21, was tragically taken in an avalanche on Mount Yotei, Hokkaido, Japan, where she was working as a ski guide.
Izzy grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand, and studied for an Outdoor Adventure Guide Diploma in Banff, Canada. Before leaving for Japan, Izzy worked as a ski instructor and in snow safety at New Zealand ski resorts.
It is our hope that, as well as raising funds for Search and Rescue Dogs Avalanche New Zealand (SARDA), this candle will light up and bring joy and beautiful scent to homes across New Zealand in memory of our beloved Izzy.

Bella Skye donates $20 from every Izzy candle purchased to SARDA, the 100% volunteer organisation providing search and rescue avalanche teams in New Zealand’s alpine environments. SARDA is an incorporated society and is a recognised New Zealand charity.
